Donna L. Camponelli
Mrs. Donna L. Camponelli, age 45,
of New Castle, DE, died on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at her
home.
Born in Wilmington on March 14,
1964, Mrs. Camponelli was a graduate of William Penn High
School. For the past 19 years she was employed with Chase
Bank, where she currently served as an assistant
vice-president in the customer support division. A talented
homemaker, as well, Mrs. Camponelli greatly enjoyed spending
time with her beloved family, especially during trips to
Disney World.
She is survived by her devoted
husband of 26 years, Guido P. Camponelli, Jr. ("The Magic of
Guido"); son, Guido Camponelli III and his fiancée, Jessica
Lawson; grandson, Daniel Camponelli; mother, Lola Debbrecht;
brothers, Benny Figgs and wife, Kelly, and Ronald Debbrecht;
aunt, Carol Johnson; in-laws, Diane and Guido Camponelli, Sr.;
brothers-in-law, Dino Camponelli and wife, Michelle, Joseph
Camponelli and wife, Judy, and William Camponelli and wife,
Rebecca; sisters-in-law, Theresa Lamanna and husband, Paul,
and Gail McGinnis and husband, Leonard; nieces and nephews,
Joseph Potter, Jesse Potter, Benny Figgs, Ann Potter, Sarah
Figgs, Jacqueline Camponelli, Paul Lamanna, Frances Lamanna,
Sabrina Lamanna, Leonard McGinnis, Jr., Stephanie McGinnis,
Jessica McGinnis, Jessie Camponelli, Jill Camponelli, William
Camponelli, Justin Camponelli, and Vincent Camponelli; great
nieces and nephews, Dylan Ward, Nate Potter, Ryan Potter,
Mikayla Ward, and Jessica Potter; and great friend, Michael
Sadler. She was preceded in death by her father, Benny Figgs,
her stepfather, Daniel Debbrecht, and sisters, Sylvia and
Melody Figgs.
A funeral service will be held at 1
pm, on Thursday, April 16, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral
Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where visitation
will begin at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Delaware City
Cemetery, Clinton Street, Delaware City, DE.
